Who I am

Sacred Mystery Teachings LLC is a tarot education business in Utah, USA. I'm Christian, and I run it. In this policy, "I," "me" and "my" mean Sacred Mystery Teachings LLC. This policy explains what information I collect, why I collect it, who helps me handle it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email hello@sacredmysteryteachings.com.

What I collect

• Booking details: when you book a reading, your name, email address, the time you choose, and your answers to the booking questions, including the disclaimer checkbox.
• Email list details: if you sign up for my emails, your name (if you give it) and email address, and basic information about which emails you open or click. I use a confirmation email: you join the list only after you click the link in it.
• Messages: anything you send me by email.
• Payment details: when paid readings begin, your payment is handled by a payment company through my booking tool. I see your name, the amount, and whether the payment went through. I never see or store your full card number.
• Website visits: my website host automatically logs your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection) for security.

What you share in a reading

What you tell me during a reading stays private. I don't record or transcribe readings. I may keep brief private notes to help with future readings. I never share what you say in a reading, except if the law requires it, or if I believe someone is in immediate danger.

How I use your information

• To schedule, hold, and follow up on your readings.
• To send you emails you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and keep my business and tax records.
• To improve my readings and services.

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with advertisers.

Services I use

I use a few trusted services to run the business. They handle your information on my behalf, under their own privacy policies:

• Cal.com, for booking. Cal.com's booking pages may use their own cookies.
• Google, for video readings (Google Meet) and email (Gmail).
• Kit (kit.com), for my email list and newsletter. When you sign up on this website, the form sends your email address straight to Kit.
• Stripe, to take card payments when paid readings begin. Stripe may collect the details it needs to process a payment and prevent fraud.
• GitHub, which hosts this website.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, to count visits to this website. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.

I share only what each service needs to do its job.

Tracking and cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and I don't follow your activity across other websites. I count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't identify you. Because I don't track you, I don't change anything when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. Other services I link to, such as the Cal.com booking page, may use their own cookies and may collect information about your online activity over time and across sites, under their own policies.

Links to other sites

My website links to YouTube, social media sites, and other services I don't run. They have their own privacy policies, and I don't control what they collect.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as I need it to provide my services and to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping duties. After that, I delete it. If you unsubscribe from my emails, I keep a record that you did, so I don't email you again by mistake, unless you ask me to delete that too.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you. If you think I have something wrong, I'll fix it. Email hello@sacredmysteryteachings.com, and I'll respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from my emails at any time with the link in any email. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept for tax reasons.

Age

My services are for adults 18 and older. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Where your information is stored

I'm based in the United States. The services I use may store information in the United States or in other countries where they operate.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here and update the date below. If the change is important, I'll also email people on my list.
